Dance Workshop: The joy of movement/ of being in space

Tony Rizzi is launching an invigorating workshop designed for dancers of all levels, including absolute beginners. Participants will gain essential insights into mastering their bodies in space through dynamic exercises rooted in Rudolf Laban's groundbreaking methods from the early 20th century.

"Leave your worries behind and join us on this thrilling journey!"

About the workshop:

Renowned choreographer William Forsythe, a Kyoto Prize winner, has expanded upon Laban's methods over the past twenty years, with Tony as one of his principal dancers. For the last three years, Tony has actively applied these principles to ballet, stating: — "I have seen significant improvements in my technique. This approach has transformed my understanding of dance, empowering me to express myself more freely and authentically."

In this workshop, you will experience:

  • An eclectic mix of music that elevates each session.
  • Combinations that adapt to your energy and creativity, enabling a fluid and inspiring experience.
  • A welcoming and genuine environment where you can fully express yourself.

He started teaching ballet companies since the age of 23, first at Boston Ballet,   and then in places as La Scala or the Bayerisch Staatsballet,  as well as workshops on improvisation in the style created at Ballett Frankfurt, and how to be a better performer in the 21 century.
