This workshop is focused on helping to improve body awareness, flexibility, mobility and balance by practicing specifically developed exercises that contain diverse coordination patterns, stretching and strengthening elements. An important part of the class will be to learn and understand breathing techniques and how to direct and use our energy flow without unnecessary tension in order to facilitate an efficient movement practice.
This offer is part of the impulse Monday workshops, where dance enthusiasts can always get into different styles.

Sade Mamedova is a performer, choreographer, teacher, and mentor based in Mannheim. After having trained over the course of her childhood as a dancer in Moscow, Sade moved to Germany to pursue a bachelor’s degree from the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main. After her graduation, she gathered varied work experience from Staatstheaters and freelance projects alike, performing for some of the most sought out choreographers and companies in Europe. Throughout her career, Sade has been honoured to have been awarded for her dancing and choreographic by reputable competitions and festivals including the Copenhagen International Choreography Competition, the International Competition for Choreographers in Hannover, and Meimage Dance Taiwan among others. In addition Sade has always had a passion for teaching and mentoring. She believes in supporting the next generation of dancers and regularly offers workshops and classes with a strong focus on floor-work and maintaining body strength.
