FREE ADMISSION
MORE REGISTRATION INFO SOON

---> Eintritt Frei

In public space, we are mostly forward and on two legs. Why is that? We could just as easily move to work rolling, crawling, turning or jumping. The workshop invites us to expand our usual vocabulary of movement, to experiment with forms of locomotion and to temporarily rethink public space using the example of crosswalks.

By and with Anne Mégier, Gabi Seeleitner, Manuela Deac, Ella Necker

For everybody with and without dance skills. Duration app. 180 minutes.

About KLAUS

The KLAUS collective was founded in 2014. Since then, it has continuously explored the theme of dance in public space and created site-specific performances. KLAUS explores organizing principles and spatial orders, deals with appropriate and allowed movements on the street and other places in the city. Through quiet disruption, KLAUS aims to draw attention to normative orders of movement in public places.

Supported by the NATIONAL PERFORMANCE NETWORK - STEPPING OUT, funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of the initiative NEUSTART KULTUR. Hilfsprogramm Tanz.
