A Somatic Dance Practice for Mind-Body Exploration

In collaboration with Dance Theatre Heidelberg, EinTanzHaus is opening its studio doors for a unique dance class that welcomes not only professionals but also experienced movers and movement lovers.

This time, we are excited to host Carolina Mancuso for a 2-day immersive journey into the Entropy_Sensory Method—a somatic dance practice that expands creativity, deepens body awareness, and invites joy through movement.

CLASS DESCRIPTION

Entropy_Sensory Method is a somatic dance practice rooted in sensory perception, movement exploration, breathing techniques, and mental awareness tools. In this class, we tune into a skin-felt environment, unleash our inner selves, and dance joyfully.

Participants will awaken the circuit of available energies and immerse themselves in sensory body language, fostering an authentic connection with themselves and their surroundings. Through guided exercises, you will explore concepts that expand your movement repertoire and challenge your self-perception:

Carolina Mancuso

Argentine-born artist with more than 22 years of experience in the professional art field, and 12 years in the educational field. As a dancer, she has worked with the Hamburg Ballet of John Neumeier, Nederlands Dans Theatre (1 & 2) and Korzo Productions (NL), among others. Carolina was part of many creations of highly renowned choreographers: Marina Mascarell, Crystal Pite, Jiří Kylián, Ohad Naharin, Astrid Boons, Jasper van Luijk, Marco Goecke, Stijn Celis, Johan Inger, Alexander Ekman, Paul Lightfoot and Sol Leon, Jiří Pokorný, Antonin Comestaz, Joeri Alexander Dubbe, Kristian Lever, among others.

In 2014, she travelled around the globe to provide professional training in dance companies and schools. Information about the class:

These dance classes welcome participants aged 16 and above—whether you are a dance professional or simply someone with movement experience who is eager to explore, expand, and enjoy moving.

Participants should wear comfortable clothes and be prepared to dance barefoot or in socks. You should bring a bottle of water and a towel for use after class.

There will be some breaks during the workshop, planned according to the participants' needs.

PLEASE ARRIVE at least 20 MINUTES BEFORE CLASS STARTS!
 We close the doors at the designated class start time, no late entry!
